A double layer of quick stick adhesive is combined with extra strong cloth and a durable waterproof film layer to create the solution for all of your toughest repairs. Typical applications of T-Rex Duct include bonding to rough surfaces and other heavy repairs. Shurtape makes the tape in 3 layers. Layer 1 is the tough, thick polyethylene skin which repels even the harshest elements. Layer 2 is the thick heavy thread which is tightly and securely interwoven which creates a reinforced inner cloth. Then layer 3 is the double adhesive which melts through layer 2 and locks onto layer 1 via co-extrusion. It equates to 4x the staying power, 3x the holding power, and 2x the bite of regular duct tapes.
